Facebook has over two billion monthly active users worldwide and is quickly becoming a major player in mobile app development and deployment. Facebook is the most popular social media platform in the world.
The company employs 37,500 people and has a monthly active user base of 2.38 billion. It also has a good selection of apps that perform various tasks. The selection changes, but they all allow you to interact with Facebook differently.
Many Facebook products are available through existing Facebook apps. For example, Facebook Videos, Facebook Marketplace, and Facebook Dating are all included in the regular Facebook app and are not separate products. It’s a little confusing. Let’s look at all the Facebook apps, what they do, and where to find them!
The apps listed below should give you access to all of Facebook’s consumer-facing features.
Facebook has hundreds of thousands of apps, but which is best for you? Some are free, while others cost between 5 and5and10 per month. Some are even paid apps with monthly fees of $100 or more. Blueprint is also a Facebook app, but a different developer publishes it.
Not all Facebook apps are created equal – and many of them serve their purpose poorly.
In this article, I’ll review the best Facebook apps and explain why they are helpful. Then I’ll tell you which ones I think are good and which are not.

The original Facebook app is designed for smartphones and tablets. This version includes all the core features that make up the Facebook experience.
If you want to use Facebook without ads, you should prefer the Facebook Lite app. This version doesn’t include the same features as the main app but still provides access to all the other functions.
Facebook Lite works best on low-powered devices with limited storage space. Some of the most popular features of the full version of the app aren’t included here.

Finally, there is Facebook Kids. This app is designed for children under 13 and allows parents to monitor what their kids do online.

Facebook Business Suite
The main Facebook app recommends downloading the Business Suite if you’re even trying to use the main Facebook app to manage your page. You’ll find that the interface isn’t entirely intuitive, and there are a few bugs here and there, but on the whole, it does what it promises.
You can use it to interact with your fans, check your social media pages for new posts, view analytics on your social media accounts, and even reply to comments.
Download this application first if you’re trying to manage your Facebook business pages from the main Facebook application. According to the Google Play reviews, it’s unstable but works well enough for most purposes.

Meta Ads Manager

This app is a bit more expensive, as it requires the purchase of ad space. However, no ads are placed in the app itself, so you only pay for the space you want to advertise on. You can see how much you pay per day here.
One of the few Facebook apps costs money because you must pay for the ad space. However, this app has even more problems than Facebook Page Manager, so you should check the website occasionally.

Free Basics by Facebook
Facebook’s Free Basics app lets you connect to the Internet for free in developing countries where access to the Internet is very limited or nonexistent – at Facebook’s expense. Free Basics is one of many Facebook apps available for Android and iOS and several other platforms, including WhatsApp, Skype, YouTube, and Spotify.
All you need is a phone and a SIM card that works with it. Apps include Facebook, AccuWeather, BBC News, MAMA, UNICEF, Dictionary.com, and more.
Internet.org is a small initiative by Facebook that is only available to a select group of users. There are ethical concerns with Facebook providing Internet access and determining where people can and cannot go. Discover from Facebook is another app in this project that does something similar. Some bugs in the app mean you should probably wait until those bugs are fixed before using the app. In the long run, you can redeem these points for various prizes. There are still some bugs in the app, especially when redeeming points, so you should not use the app immediately if you are not sure it’s safe.

Instagram and Whatsapp
Instagram and WhatsApp are two other Facebook apps that do not carry the Facebook name and can not be found on Google Play under the Facebook developer account. You are already familiar with these apps – Instagram is a social media platform for sharing photos, and WhatsApp is a messaging platform.
Most apps mentioned above, like Page Manager and Ads Manager, also support Instagram accounts. WhatsApp is the world’s most popular messaging platform that allows users to send photos and messages to each other.
Threads by Instagram is an app for Instagram that works similarly to Instagram but in a more personal setting. Technically, these are Facebook apps, but they usually operate as separate entities outside of the Facebook ecosystem. Facebook Gaming is the official app for the gaming section of Facebook’s video collection. In other words, it provides access to videos related to games.

Why do Users Like Facebook?
Facebook is easy to use and offers features that help you connect with family members, old classmates, and even old school friends. Although many other social networks exist, Facebook continues to dominate the market. Not surprisingly, it’s one of the most popular destinations in the world.
The site is user-friendly and accessible to everyone. Even the least tech-savvy can sign up and start posting content right away. There are no complicated steps or hurdles to overcome to publish information on Facebook. You don’t need to register or log in to publish content on Facebook. Just go to www.facebook.com and click the big blue “Publish” button.
You can quickly post photos, videos, status updates, and comments. If something happens while you’re away, you can text a photo to your Facebook friends. And if you want to let someone know about a special occasion or event, you can post a status update. All these actions are done with a few taps.
Although the site has grown exponentially over the years, it retains a sense of simplicity and friendliness. For example, you can choose to see messages, notifications, activity logs, events, groups, and your profile. You decide what you want to see based on how much time you spend on Facebook. Instead of focusing on personal activities, you can do that without scrolling down too far.
Facebook is fun. People love to share photos, videos, status updates, and feelings on Facebook. They like to comment and interact with each other. Some people even like to play games on Facebook.
The site is entertaining and a frequent destination for many users. Many people visit Facebook daily, especially during lunch breaks or after work. Many people find that Facebook gives them a good dose of motivation to get things done outside of work.
Unlike other social networking sites, Facebook doesn’t allow adult content. In this way, Facebook won’t expose inappropriate content to children. However, Facebook does allow nudity under certain circumstances. For example, if you upload a nude photo of yourself, you must indicate that you’re 18 or older.
How Facebook Is Ruining Your Android (and What You Can Do)
What happens if you uninstall Facebook from your device? Does it make it any better?
According to Reddit user TemplaerDude, it does. He says his old Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime became much faster without the Facebook app. And while he can’t give an exact number, he’s noticed a significant difference. “I’ve a crappy Grand Prime that was always unbearably slow,” he wrote. “It was the worst smartphone I’ve ever owned.”
But now that he no longer has Facebook on his phone, everything seems to be running smoothly. He posted a screenshot comparing his phone’s performance before and after uninstalling the Facebook app. On the left, you can see how fast his phone runs, and on the right, you can find the same thing, only this time, he removed the Facebook app.
The impact of the Facebook app on your phone isn’t limited to speed. Users report that the app takes up too much storage space, shortens battery life, and causes device problems.
And it’s not just Android users who’re affected by this problem. A recent study found that iOS users have similar issues, and even Windows Phone users have reported that the Facebook app slows down their smartphones. If you want to get rid of Facebook, here’s a list of alternatives for Android users.
Are You Ditching the Facebook App?
Facebook recently announced changes to how it handles apps on Android phones. In short, the social network wants to ensure people aren’t sharing too much information about themselves without knowing it. As part of those efforts, some features of the Facebook app will no longer work on many devices. This includes automatic uploads of photos taken on the phone, location tracking, and even notifications.
The change has impacted almost every version of Android since 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, including versions older than 5.0 Lollipop. If you’re one of the few who hasn’t updated your phone to the latest software, you’ll want to take note.
